• Hello ProudArmyMom, thanks for reaching out! You can use a single earbud with the phone that both earbuds were previously paired to. When using a single earbud, the sound will automatically switch from stereo to mono. ^Elizabeth

• Yes, the buds can be worn one at a time and work for calls. You can wear either the right or the left independently from the other, but the button presses you set to left/right won't work unless it's worn.

• This is not true. You can use either bud independent of the other. I have many times, including just now, put in the left and left the right bud and case in the car with absolutely no issues.

• Yes you can wear 1 earbud. However the right earbud serves as a leader and must be in range of the phone for both buss to have good clarity.
