Safe for me to say, no to this. Although it is a feature to have the headphones disable ANC and active Ambient Awareness during a phone call so you can still hear your surroundings in the call via the Samsung Wearable app. You may be able to tinker with the settings eventually to adjust the microphone to pick up the ambient surroundings.
