• you probably have transparency mode on press and hold on the earbud and it should turn on noise canceling

• Yes, you can turn off the ambient sound option and it goes away

• you may have it in the non noise canceling mode. usually if you touch and hold one earbud for a few seconds, you'll hear a chime and everything should go pretty quiet

• Check the Galaxy Wearable app and see if you have ambient noise on it allows sound in so you can keep them in and hear your surroundings.
