Yes! Infact i'm doing so right now! using the right earbud solo while the left one is in the case charging and closed! But you can switch it up and do the same with the left one while the right one is in the case closed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The left one is the master bud. You can use either one but if you are not using the left one some of the touch controls don't work properly on the right one. You can still listen to music with either bud.

The Galaxy Buds detect how many earbuds are extracted from the case and automatically switch the sound mode to mono or stereo based on the number of earbuds being used. If you wear both earbuds, you can listen to your favorite songs in stereo sound. However, suppose you decide to wear just one earbud. In that case, you can listen to music in mono sound. Stereo = Both earbuds are extracted from the case and are being used Mono = Either the left or the right earbud is extracted from the case and is being used).
