• your friend is the primary account owner so she will be charge for it, if you trust your friend you can add your card to his/her account and split the bill for how much you owe each month.. to make it simple just get your own plan

• The monthly charge on the device is through the carrier and not the store. Why don't you pay your friend directly for your portion of the monthly charge on the bill? Bank to bank transfer, cash, paypal, etc?
