When I bought mine on the website, for store pickup - I drove to the store prior receiving an email. There were issues with activating the phones (everyone I saw with that issue were buying AT&T Note 7s). This wasn't the store's fault. However, I paid for mine outright -- this wasn't an AT&T or cell upgrade. Once this was clarified, they were able to bypass the "process" that was causing a technical issue and complete my purchase. I drove home, placed the SIM in my phone and powered it on. Great store, great service - I saw the struggles they faced with all the stuff out of their control and "major corporations" should probably have a process in place to notify customers who faithfully preordered if delays are being experienced.
