I am able to move the app directly to the micro sd card. There are a few apps that won't move over - such as system apps. The majority of the apps do transfer over. Allowing me tons of room on my phone. I do have the 256gb micro sd card so i never worry about space. I hope this helps. The phone has been amazing thus far.
