• Yes, unless u buy it straight out. Not really a lease, because u have to pay it off before getting a new phn, if u want another one before the 2 yrs is up.

• It is the same thing as if you were to buy the phone from Verizon. You pay for the phone monthly on your Verizon bill not to Best Buy.
