Its an entire process. You go ahead and pre-order the phone through Bestbuy which gives you an additional $150 off and then use the Verizon trade in process through verizonwireless.com to get the promotional trade in value. This is what Verizon told me on 8/24/17. If this all works its the best value/deal on the note 8.
