Then add the smartphone access fee (2 year contract = $40/mo.) which gets you unlim talk/text on this line. If you select the 2yr you will also see an activation fee of approx $40 on the next month's bill. The dollar for the phone is just the down payment. If you select NEXT, the data price is the same but the line price drops to either $15 or $25 per month. And the phone is ZERO down payment. But you add the monthly payment for the phone to the bill. Since you selected the $1 2yr option, your bill would be $60 each month and around $100 the first(next) month due to the one-time activation fee.
