• The NEXT plan is basically a plan that has you paying full price for the phone (which you would have done signing up for a 2 year agreement when they increase your monthly fees) and you decide how many months you want the payment plan to be 12, 18, or 24 month. I won't go into the details of the whole plan, but instead understand....AT&T is doing this because all other carriers have moved away from 2yr signup contracts.
