Best Buy doesn't pay the fees. They are a store within a store and provide the products and service. The service goes directly through Verizon, etc...

Sprint is offering some money to switch, but you'd have to go in store and verify how you do that. Best Buy isn't a carrier, so if you mean to end your current plan with Verizon and go to Best Buy to start up a new plan with Verizon, that wouldn't work. Best Buy facilitates, so you're really asking Verizon to pay their own fees and give you a new phone. I'd suggest checking if you're EDGE eligible, you might be able to get a new phone even if you're not ready for a 2-year contract.

No the only company I know paying off your old contract is Sprint and you turn in your old phone
