You do not have to switch plans
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We already had unlimited plan. The sales associate checked to make sure it was the cheapest option for us. He never said that unlimited was required. Not sure what your question about geek squad means. Best Buy sales person went into our verizon account and activated the new phone, even switched my old one to another person on our plan...there was no change to monthly cost of plan. Verizon did charge $40 for the 'upgrade' but I am going to try to get a credit directly from Verizon.
