If they are still doing that, the full value is only attainable with the Note 9 and maybe S9+. My S8+ was worth about 300, if I recall. Maybe 350.

Please try again later.Best Buy has its own trade-in promos (that goes up to $550 depending on the phone) but the way it works is weird: You trade your phone in and you get a trade in value that depends on the condition of your phone and the type of phone. Best Buy then uses a promo code to move the trade value up to a higher amount (with a maximum trade in value of $650 if you have a pristine condition Note 9) The value you get at the end of your trade in depends on the type of phone you have and the condition its in. I traded my S9+ in and got the full 550 (trade in value was 329 and their promo code moved it up to 550) because it was in perfect condition (no scratches, no cracks, everything worked). I paid about 450ish out of pocket for a brand new S10+ unlocked.
