The pre-order means that u can pay for it right now and once the phone gets to the store you'll be one of the first once to have it..just take the receipt and they'll just give you ur new phone....thats my best answer i could think off

If you go inside Best Buy you can pre order with no money today and pay on March 8 2019 when the phone comes in the store. Online you pay upfront in the store you pay when it comes in.
