• Your plan may change depending on your current plan. As for your number should stay the same they'll just port your number over to the new phone

• Yes my husband just did this with his iPhone 6 this past weekend. Didn't make any changes to our existing plan. This is the third time purchasing phones from Best Buy. Always get great service.
