• I bought an unlocked phone for $600, with Sprint Kickstart $40/month unlimited, no contract. For some reason Sprint rejected me. Since I had BYOP with verizon at $45/month, I just slipped the SIM card into the new phone and voila! I was up and running. For me I travel a lot to Europe and an unlocked phone is necessary
