One phone transfers to another without having to change lines. The phone is 5G ready which doesn't necessarily mean you will experience 5G speeds. That is also true even if your phone displays a 5G connection. It is still a great phone and I would have to say the battery is the best part. It is slow to loose a charge and it recharges quickly.
