I too have T-Mobile and I have purchased unlocked cellphones from Best Buy and Amazon and all I had to do it take the SIM card out of my old phone and put in the new one. Restart the phone and ready to go.

Yes I am a cricket customer and I was able to just take it there and they got it all set up!! There’s also an app online where I could of done it myself but I prefer to allow them to do it. My other phone didn’t have that much storage, I had a storage card , but this phone does not have a place for a storage card so I had to add some of my contacts myself. Same for my pics I didn’t have some saved in the cloud so I need to get them of my old phone . Hope this helped.
