I too have T-Mobile and I have purchased unlocked cellphones from Best Buy and Amazon and all I had to do it take the SIM card out of my old phone and put in the new one. Restart the phone and ready to go.

There’s also an app online where I could of done it myself but I prefer to allow them to do it. My other phone didn’t have that much storage, I had a storage card , but this phone does not have a place for a storage card so I had to add some of my contacts myself. Same for my pics I didn’t have some saved in the cloud so I need to get them of my old phone . Hope this helped.
