I think the amount depends on your old phone model and the condition. I traded in a S8 Active that was fully working but a little scratched up and got $800.00. You have to do it on the monthly installment plan in order to get the rebate. If you pay cash for the phone you will NOT get the $800.

I did. Att ran out of stock and told me to buy it from bestbuy. Went back next day to do the trade in at att store and got the deal.
