I used the same one from my old phone, yoi can use any sim card from your old carrier or the carrier of your choice.

If the phone is unlocked you can get one at any mobile company (T-Mobile, Verizon, prepaid one.. etc). If you plan on only using wifi, there are numerous apps out there we you don't need a SIM card or telephone number just an email account.

If you have an old phone that uses a nano-Sim, just take it out from the old phone and put in your new phone. Otherwise, you have to buy one from your phone service provider.
