All phones and carries less are different. However, I have the pink gold S7 edge and I make phone calls and multi task all the time. I use the Internet, send messages, etc. All at the same time as a call. I use to do the same with my old LG G3 too. Now, I have seen on some iPhone you can not multi task; therefore, from what I have seen it depends on the device.

No, you cannot make phone calls and use 4G, for example. Your phone will give you a pop up message when you are making the call. You can, however, use wifi while making a call
