• Just spoke with a representative from best buy regarding this same issue. To make a long story short: no, you cannot apply the best buy $150 gift card that you receive to this purchase. To quote the representative directly: "Absolutely not. The $150 gift card can be applied to any best buy purchases subsequent to this phone." Hope this helps because I was in the same boat, I thought I could renew my Verizon contract and get this s7 for $50.
