• the S7 has a flat screen, the S7 Edge has a curved screen that wraps part way around the sides of the phone. It gives you easier access apps you select that you use a lot and will let you know if you have any alerts.

• For me the most important differences was the larger battery and larger screen on the S7 edge. There are many other smaller "extras" on the edge as well.

• Besides the curved edges of the phone, the Edge is slightly larger, and has a larger battery for longer use.

• The edge is a little bit bigger and the screen on the phone spill over the sides rounded sides. The regular one just has a flat screen and is easier to handle.
