• I haven't had any issues with the battery. I believe most the issues were with the s8 and the note 7.

• It was the Samsung Galaxy Notebook not any of the phones! Go get your new phone, you'll be glad you did! And yes the notebook has been fixed but several airlines still prohibit traveling with one.
