If your phone it that you have currently is eligible for an upgrade yes you can sign on another contract to receive the S7 Edge for whatever promotional advertisement that they have currently. But if your phone is not eligible for an upgrade you will have to open another line and sign a two-year contract just to receive those discounted benefits from what I've been told by a Verizon rep when we upgraded our families cell phones.

Unless you choose to purchase the new phone upgrade outright and not be on a payment plan with your cell phone provider the answer would be no your monthly payment will be the same.
