This could be done, but you have to pay for this , unless you have insurance, which cover it. I'm not sure in what case you will pay more, for this service or for insurance. I choose not to buy insurance.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NOPE. All truly waterproof smartphones have the singular weakness of a sealed battery compartment. That means that when the battery goes south, the phone goes with it. The workaround is that most decent carriers let you upgrade every year or so. For reference, I came to the S7 Edge because my *supposedly* waterproof S5 got rained on (hard) and went the way of the dodo. No more leaky battery doors for me, thank you very much. I'll stick with IP68 rated phones like the S7 series from here on out.
