“I have sprint and I don't want to lease with them, but if I pay the $199 for this device I am still able to use it with sprint? Also, once I pay the $199 and tax will I own the phone or do I have to pay installments??”

If you pay the deposit you go on a 2 year contract select your plan suitable for you& whomever be sure to pick a date you can do auto pay with because they report to credit bureaus this way only. After 2 years is up you still keep your phone. Why they do installment billing is for ppl who can't or won't pay the deposit on that I'm unclear either way you keep your phone.
