When I got my Samsung S8, it was pretty straight forward. As soon as I received my Samsung, I turned off my old phone and turned on the new phone. Then it basically guided me on activating it. It took about 5-10 minutes and I was good to go. I activated it from home. The only thing you need to do is call Sprint and let them perform the rest on their end of activation. Overall, very simple process.

You cant set it up on line, do it yourself. You may want a larger SIM card.
