Don't accept everything you read as the final word. Verizon doesn't want to lose you as a customer. I always look at it as a 'buyer's market' which puts you as the customer in control. Explain to them what you want and that you want to stay with Verizon but you don't want to lose unlimited data. Ask them what they will do to keep you as a customer. If you don't hear what you want, then go to the next level and talk with a supervisor. Keep at it, then make an informed decision.
