I can relate, but after I reviewed the S9 & other similar phones, it was still the best purchase for the money (w/o the $50 credit that was only applied if you activated a new AT&T number). I purchase my S9 that same day and have never regretted my purchase. I was a die-hard HTC phone owner, but this phone has so many features I have seen and wish I had. Now I do. Everything on the phone is top notch and has features I am using I Ijust dreamed of having. I hope you decide to still purchase the S9. The add'l $50 will become a pleasant memory.

We only ran into problems with voice mail. Otherwise it was a slam dunk to get the phone incorporated into an AT&T family plan.
