Did the problem with the screen get corrected? I keep hearing that the screen breaks easily and fold marks are left on the screen null

Mine just broke and its been less than a year. The screen just went black all the way down the center of the phone  where it folds.  Im getting the run around even though my phone is under warranty

Screen was fixed not in a timely manner, but I've not received my phone back from Samsung yet to determine how long the repaired screen will last.

Those issues have been addressed by adding a glass screen with a plastic overlay. The z fold 3 is now water resistant as well
