• I'm not sure whether the case needs to be removed if charging wirelessly. I always charge mine via electrical plug.

• No, the case doesn't need to be removed, but the little round ring/kickstand piece does. You just push the button in the center and twist. It's a little wobbly on wireless chargers because there's still a bump that prevents it from lying flat, but my Fold 5 fast charges fine on all of my Qi chargers in this case.
