Not sure how you have a receiver connected to this unit. Assuming you have it connected to the fiber-optic port, the manual says that it you have both the HDMI and fiber-optic ports connected, the system will default to the HDMI connection. Not sure if you can use the "input" feature to select the fiber-optic port to override the HDMI port.

When connected to the HDMI ARC or digital optical audio port on the TV, all of the audio will pass through from the TV to the soundbar. If you have additional external devices you would like to hear through your soundbar, you can either connect them to the TV, direct to the available HDMI Input on the soundbar, or use Bluetooth wireless audio technology. If using the HDMI input or Bluetooth technology, you will need to change the source on the soundbar to the proper connection. Should you require additional assistance, please contact Samsung customer support at: 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for Soundbars), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. ^Tim
