Should be, makes sure the TV supports arc, Earc, or optical.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not familiar with the Aquos but you can hook it up to any TV that has an HDMI input. You can connect it to any TV that has an HDMI eARC port and control volume with your TVs remote. Mine is hooked to a Sony x85j HDMI 2.1 eARC port. I have a Fire TV cube running into the soundbar's HDMI port and can also control volume with Fire TV Cube remote There is a separate remote for the sound system to adjust levels and sound settings.
