I don't really know why your sound volume goes back to 15 after 2 minutes of use but on your soundbar remote there is a a switch on the right side looks just like your volume one on left side you can adjust the subwoofer from - 6 to +6 the same way you adjust the sound push it up for plus and back for the - and you can see were the setting is at by looking at the small screen on the front of the soundbar
