Hello jg24, The rear speakers are wired together to a central transmitter and then this sends the signal wirelessly to the soundbar itself. The HW-Q750B Soundbar unit itself has Dolby Atmos speakers on top, but the rear speakers are NOT Dolby Atmos. ~Samsung Solutions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The rear speakers are wireless in that they use a wireless module that communicates with the sound bar. You do have to run wires from the module to each rear speaker. The rear speakers are not Atmos enabled.

Please try again later.The rear speakers draw their power through speaker wire (provided) that connect to the power unit / transceiver that connects wirelessly to the soundbar for the audio signals. So, no wires run between the soundbar and the rear speaker unit. Pairing the rear speakers to the soundbar is pretty easy.
