• No, you cannot. Because the soundbar has no return HDMI out. Only way via HDMI is from TV HDMI to soundbar. Also could use Optical or wireless Bluetooth.

• Hi Jimm, The best way to connect your HW-S800B Soundbar to your TV/Cable box, would be to use HDMI to TV ARC for the Soundbar. Then using another HDMI port on your TV to connect your Cable box. This will allow for all of the audio that is coming from your Cable box to send out to your Soundbar properly. ~Samsung Solutions
