“I am going to install two monitors on my home office sit/stand desk. The computer is used for office/excel/outlook 99% of the time. Is the Samsung G5 32" curved monitor the best option or is a flat screen monitor better? Price is not a consideration.”

Personal opinion here, this exact monitor is not needed for you. This monitor has 144hz refresh rate and 1440p quality, IN MY OPINION, this is more intended for video games. I think a 1080p, 60hz monitor will be sufficient for your needs. I think 1440p 144hz will be overkill and basically useless for your use of office/excel/outlook. In terms of curved and uncurved I think it is a matter of personal opinion as well, I think curved looks better on the eyes and overall creates a better view. There are plenty of 1080p 60hz curved monitors in existence. I don't think the extra $150-200 you'll be spending on these specifications would be useful for your needs.
