“I have a GE76 DRAGON TIAMAT 11UH-282 Laptop. With a MINI DP 1.4, Would this monitor still function at full resolution/HZ by the mini DP? And be good for games such as COD, Elden Ring, Genshin impact. As well as work related tasks like writing and design?”

I don't know about the display port, but for games this monitor is great & if your hardware is capable, the refresh rate is great. Design, I wouldn't recommend it.
