“I have second thoughts about monitor. After further investigation, I t seems the Cyberpower GUA 1400BST is at fault. Using the HDMI or Analog output of computer, monitor just indicates Gigabytes on screen. Monitor works with another desktop.”

Yes, the monitor will work great with a HDMI converter, the HDMI converter attached via computer and monitor, I can't see where analog would even come into play.
