This is a good monitor, and should certainly work for your purposes. However, your proposed 2-monitor setup depends almost entirely on your video output. If your computer has a video card, it probably has multiple outputs which you can send to different monitors. Just be sure you have the right cableing. This monitor has VGA and HDMI inputs, but no speakers. You will need to use some sort of software to assign your screens. This usually is included in the video card driver software, and Microsoft provides some help too.
