45 watt charger, charges faster when battery is lower than 80%...

80% to 100% : 25 watt & 45 watt super fast chargers charge about same rate to protect the battery... ( charging rate automatically decreases after battery reaches 80% to protect battery & supposedly extends battery life )

45 watt charger comes with 5A USB-C charging cable...

Cannot Get Fastest Charging with less than 5A charging cable...

And 5A USB-C charging cables are not inexpensive so it's worth getting 45 watt charger...

You can tell you're getting fastest charge because screen will show a bluish ring when charger is plugged into the phone & screen will show Super Fast Charging 2.0

You will see greenish ring when plugging in charger & only Super Fast Charging ( but no 2.0 )

Yes, they actually recommend to use this heavy duty 45W charger and cable for the new Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra because of the bigger batteries that are in these new phones. I have just received my new S22 ultra and this charger is super fast and really nice, I have purchased 3 of these charger/cable sets for my family.
