• Hi Liz, The speakers will wirelessly connect to a compatible Samsung Soundbar which will then need to be plugged in to the wall for power. ~Samsung Solutions

• The Rear Speakers connect to the soundbar, NOT directly to the TV. Connect the soundbar to the TV with OPT or ARC. Plug-in the Rear Speakers, turn on the sound bar The rears should play automatically.
