I have not tried that approach. However it seems to me the one speaker that connects via Bluetooth should work out. The second speaker connects thru a speaker wire only.

Yes you can use just one, they connect to one another with speaker wire, so one will work, to connect the second it has to be wiped to the first though, if that makes sense. Only one speaker is equipped with Bluetooth.

The SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit would not work in your situation. The rear speakers play ambient sounds, surround sounds and extra channels from whatever your source is. It will not mimic the sounds coming from the soundbar itself.
