“I purchased the Q850A sounder package which included the subwoofer and rear speakers that connected to a wireless module. I am looking to upgrade the rear speakers to the SWA-9500S. Will these work with the Q850A and if so what more could I expect?”

Thanks for the reply but the SWA-9500S speakers are NOT compatible with the Q850A package! I purchased the 9500S speakers and they would not pair. I called Samsung tech support and they confirmed that they are not compatible. I'm just going to use and enjoy the 9100S rear's that came with the Q850A system. Returning the 9500's tomorrow.

I purchased them because being wired to the module didn't work for my setup. As far as what you can expect, convenience of placement is great, and the sound quality was just okay for me. If you crank up the volume they work pretty well but, at low volumes the surround effect is greatly diminished.
