per the Samsung website, the blue is available in 250 and 500 GB whereas the black is available in 1 or 2 TB. The difference is the capacity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The blue is used for the 256 GB snd 512 GB models. The black is used on the 1 TB and 2 TB models. You do not get to choose the color. You choose the capacity and the corresponding color comes with it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My understanding between the Blue and Black is the size of the ssd drive, i.e, 256 GB verses 1 T for example. I purchased the 1T and it is black. It works very nicely and is fast. I use the usb-c to usb-c connection between the Samsung drive and my HP laptop the has a usb-c port. The drive is sleek and small and has password encryption. I am very satisfied. The only drawback is that the 1 T drive is pricey.....but I am very glad I purchased it and would not hesitate doing it again if I need more drive capacity.
