• I am using it for a 2020 MacBook Pro, 1TB is partitioned as a backup drive and 1TB is formatted in exFAT, so I can share files between my Mac machines and my Windows machines. For general computer stuff it works great. I would just say when you initially plug it in to your Mac, delete all the software that comes with the Drive and use your Mac’s built in hard drive software to format and partition, and it should work just fine for you.
