Just curious on this item with rubber on the outside of it.... How long does it take for the exterior rubber to deteriorate and flake off, rub off, etc? null

That’s never going to happen.  The rubber coating is quite substantial…more like a sleeve than just a coating.

It hasn’t been out long enough to tell, but it seems to be a good quality silicon.
